nero's comments caused his teams disbandment after only one series played in ECL

ESL issue three week suspension to nero

Nero will be unable to play in any ESL competitions for the duration of the ban.

Matthew "nero" Seymour has been issued a three week ban from participating in all ESL competitions. The decision follows in the wake of nero's offensive comments directed at ONET4P's Walker "walker" Harris during an ECL match between the two teams. In their statement ESL have indicated that through his comments nero breached their code of conduct by failing to treat his fellow players with respect.

These comments caused Valors to implode, as Wayne "castro" Einarsson immediately left the team following the incident, which effectively left Valors unable to field a full lineup for the rest of the season. Valors also announced the same day that it would not be re-signing the team for this season of ESL Challenger, though that decision happened independently from the events in that particular game.

It appears that no team will be taking the former Valors roster's place in ESL Challenger Season 40, as it's slot is still occupied. The team was renamed to LMAO RAGED, and there are no players from the original Valors roster on the team. The now-vacant slot forfeited their next two matches and is set to be marked dead in short order.
