SEMPHIS is looking to give broadcast work a try

SEMPHIS looks for broadcast work during the holidays

Having been benched from Envy, SEMPHIS looks to get work elsewhere this winter.

Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen is open to opportunities as a talent member for the winter season, the player tweeted out late Wednesday evening. He is searching for both analyst desk work and commentating as a color caster.

SEMPHIS was recently benched on Envy following an unproductive ESL Pro League Season 8 run, with the team only just inching out of auto-relegation territory on the final match day fielding Matt "Pollo" Wilson in place of Semphis. Four of Envy's six wins in the online season came from wins against Cloud9 and Renegades, with the two teams playing from Europe and Australia, respectively.

With the second half of the CS:GO season winding down, SEMPHIS seemingly wants to make use of his time on the Envy bench by giving analyst or commentating a try. Although he has never worked an event before, his ability to discuss the game is evident as he has featured in a number of episodes of the Peekers Advantage podcast alongside recent FACEIT Major desk attendee Damian "daps" Steele.

Few opportunities are available however, as the talent list for SuperNova CS:GO Malta and DreamHack Open have already been revealed. Still, BLAST Pro Series Lisbon, PLG Grand Slam, and MDL Global Challenge Season 29 have yet to announce their broadcast talent, so a chance for SEMPHIS to make an appearance still remains.
