Liquid complete huge comeback against Misfits

In the first meeting of the two teams since their battles at last weekends Americas Minor, the chosen battleground was Cache. Misfits swiftly claimed the pistol on their Terrorist side, and added two more, before Josh "jdm64" Marzano and Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken put a stop to their streak.
Unfortunately, Liquid were immediately reset by Misfits, who stormed out to a 9-1 lead before Liquid were able to add another round. Misfits would again reset Liquid, and finish the half with a comfortable 13-2 lead.
Liquid were able to win the second pistol round, which they desperately needed. They would win the next three rounds relatively cleanly, building their bank and making the comeback a possiblity for themselves.
Misfits would then string two rounds together, including a monstrous 4K from François "AmaNEk" Delaunay to put his team on match point. Liquid resumed their march towards tying the game, and were saved by a 1v3 by the young star Twistzz. That clutch seemingly broke the backs of Misfits, and Liquid were able to tie the game at 15-15.
Liquid were able to maintain their winning ways going into the first half of overtime, and would see their first lead of the game. Misfits were able to recover, and bring the score to 17-16.
Misfits would put up a good fight in the second half of overtime as well, but with Liquid fully in the game at this point, it was too much for them to overcome. A 1v2 clutch that ended in a smoke defuse from jdm64 put Liquid over the line, 19-17.
