WESG Americas Regional Finals to be held at Esports Arena Santa Ana
WESG have announced that the location of their Americas Regional Finals will be none other than Esports Arena in Santa Ana, California. The location has held numerous CS:GO events in the past, and will play host to the iBUYPOWER Masters this weekend.
Running from February 1 to February 4, the event will be comprised of a male and female tournament, with over $90,000 on offer between both. Seven male teams are already qualified, along with two female teams.
Of the twelve teams attending the main event, the top seven will proceed to the World Finals being held in China.
The choice of location marks a change from last year's event, which was held in Brazil. The location caused travel/visa issues for several North American teams, which is likely why the change has been made.
WESG Americas qualifications will continue tonight, with the grand final of WESG Canada between subtLe and FRENCH CANADIANS, and the start of WESG Argentina.
