Fragadelphia 12 groups and schedule released
The groups and schedule for the upcoming Fragadelphia 12 event have been released. With the tournament taking place this weekend, between August 3rd-5th, the organizers have released the format and how the tournament will progress.
The groups were initially released last night, so teams could have time to prepare before they head off to Philadelphia and compete in the tournament. The schedule for the round robin groups were also announced, with Groups A-D competing from 10am, E-H from 12:30pm, J-L from 3pm and M from 5:30pm. Check-in for all groups is 30 minutes before scheduled start. All times are the local time zone, EDT.
The tournament will also feature a double-elimination bracket after the groups, from which the top two teams in each group will make their way to the upper bracket. All upper bracket games are set to be best-of-one, while the lower bracket matches will be best-of-three.
With 52 teams currently signed up, the groups for the upcoming event are:

Fragadelphia 12 is set to feature a number of well-known teams, with a strong collection of those coming from MDL which are: Vision, Gorilla Gang, Vireo Pro, Swole Patrol, RESOLUTE, BlackOut, Excelerate and Mythic. Swole Patrol are coming in with compLexity's Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker replacing Edgar "MarKE" Jimenez.
Pro League team eUnited are also making an appearance alongside two Dignitas players through the Ownage mix-team, a name which saw Mitch "m1tch" Semago win Fragadelphia 11. He'll face his teammate from that event, Shawn "witmer" Taylor, in the same group as part of the Hooked mix.
Recent Brazilian imports oNe are also making an appearance. The two leading Female CS teams of North America, Dignitas fe and CLG Red, once again line up in the tournament. Honorable mention goes out to Dust2.us favorite Spenser "shrek" Adams, who'll be attending with his doctoral colleagues in the PHD team.
The tournament begins tomorrow, with the first games beginning at 10am EDT. With the current sign-ups, the prize pool sits at $33,450 broken down as follows:
1st: $18,250
2nd: $8,000
3rd: $3,750
4th: $1,750
5th/6th: $850
