Kaboose is housed under an organization once again

F1-racecar-PEEK gain 20/20 Vision

After backing out of BlackOut, F1 have signed with the Austin-based Vision.

As previously reported, the roster of F1-racecar-PEEK has signed with Vision Gaming after pulling out of negotations with BlackOut Gaming, who were also looking to acquire the MDL squad.

According to tweets from Nathan Blum, the co-owner of BlackOut, BlackOut offered the team travel support to Tokyo in Tulsa, Fragadelphia, and $2,300 in salary for the first month. The players of F1-racecar-PEEK later abandoned negotiations with the organization due to Vision promising greater compensation for the players than what BlackOut had offered.

Based on a tweet from BlackOut's CS:GO manager, Jeremy "Jeremy9000" Gray, Vision offered over at least $100 more to the roster in their contract. Taking Jeremy9000's comments at face-value, the salary proposed by Vision could be anywhere from $2,400 to $2,800 or more, with travel support for Fragadelphia and Tokyo in Tulsa likely being similar to BlackOut's offer.

With the road ahead now visible, Vision's roster is:

  • Alex "lanhero" Suarez
  • Canada Danny "huynh" Huynh
  • United States Gabe "Spongey" Greiner
  • United States Jake "kaboose" McDonald
  • United States Ricky "floppy" Kemery

Vision are currently 8th in the NA MDL standings with a 5-1 record. Vision will play their first game under the new organization today in the NA MDL, where they will face off again Really Old People at 10:30 PM EDT on Dust2.

Taking the details of BlackOut's offers into consideration, the roster will also likely represent the organization at Tokyo in Tulsa and Fragadelphia, which will take place on July 14-15th and August 3-5th respectively.
