chelo led the way for Luminosity in a demolition of Rise Nation

Luminosity roll over Rise Nation at the Minor

The Brazilians took the opening pistol and hardly looked back, cruising to an easy victory on Inferno.

Inferno was selected as the map for the second opening match of Group B between Luminosity and Rise Nation.

Luminosity started on the Counter-Terrorist side, and quickly gained control of the match with a 3k from Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes. The Brazilians proceeded to take the following two rounds, before Rise Nation hit their high point of the match, rattling off two rounds of their own.

Those two rounds plus an additional one in the second-to-last round of the first half would be all that the North Americans would muster, as the Premier up-and-comers clearly looked outmatched by their ESL Pro League adversaries. A triple kill from Gabriel "NEKIZ" Schenato all but sealed Rise Nation's fates, and Luminosity closed out the map 16-3.
