No longer shackled to the desks, n0thing is set to return to play once again

n0thing makes brief return with mousesports for ESL One Belo Horizonte

The American veteran, who has been out of action since leaving Cloud9 in August last year, returns for one event.

Former Cloud9 veteran player Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert will be making a brief return to competitive play, acting as a stand-in for mousesports who are set to be without AWP'er Tomáš "oskar" Šťastný at the upcoming ESL One Belo Horizonte.

Full reasons for oskar's withdrawal have not been released, with the organization stating "personal reasons". n0thing has been out of competitive play since August last year, when he and Mike "shroud" Grzesiek were replaced on Cloud9 by Will "RUSH" Wierzba and Tarik "tarik" Celik. n0thing's contract with Cloud9 finally ended just under a month ago.

Since then the American has seen his focuses more aimed on the analysis desks, being part of various events including online seasons for the ESL Pro League and ECS, IEM Oakland and the ELEAGUE Major: Boston during the Legends stage. He is set to join the desk once again for the upcoming ECS Season 5 finals in London. Whether or not this means a more full-time return to the competitive scene is still to be revealed.

mousesports roster for ESL One Belo Horizonte shall be:

  • Chris "chrisJ" de Jong
  • Robin "ropz" Kool
  • Miikka "suNny" Kemppi
  • Martin "STYKO" Styk
  • United States Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert (stand-in)

ESL One Belo Horizonte is set to take place June 13th - 17th at the Mineirinho Arena in the city, beginning just three days after the ECS Season 5 come to an end. This is not the only roster uncertainity set to take place before the event in Brazil, considering unannounced changes being made to the Torqued roster currently underway.

Dust2 Birthday cake!
Could actually be a fun event for Mouz. I don't think the competition at Belo Horizonte is that amazing compared to other events we've had recently, so maybe they'll have a freak run or something.

Any word about FaZe playing with Cromen or Olof for Belo Horizonte?
