OCEAN may find himself in the position of coach

Changes in subtLe, Adaptation; OCEAN's future uncertain

Two tweets sent in quick succession illuminated the near futures of two ESEA Premier sides.

First, Adaptation announced that Cloud9/ESL Pro League analyst James "JamezIRL" Macaulay would be joining the team to replace former CLG Academy sniper Victor "cardiac" Kwan. Macaulay had been left teamless after the disbanding of his former team, ANTI ECO CLUB/Weekend Warriors.

Kwan followed this up with a tweet of his own, adding in that Derrick "LILMAN" Boyne would be joining the team as well. The former RUSH member had recently been playing matches with Muffin Lightning after the departure of Justin "just9n" Ortiz. Not mentioned by Kwan was Terry "dsr" Ryu, who has been left out of the re-tooled side.

When contacted by Dust2.us, Kyle "OCEAN" O'Brien confirmed the starting five for the team, but was non-committal as to what his role with the squad would be going forward. subtLe had previously been coached by Matthew "knc1" Arnold — it is not known if that will continue.

The roster of subtLe is now as follows:

  • Canada Ellis "els" Clay
  • United States Matthew "no_one" Congdon
  • United States Leonardo "Laski" Arroyo
  • Canada Derrick "LILMAN" Boyne
  • Canada Victor "cardiac" Kwan

The roster of Adaptation is now:

  • United States Brite "Brite" Bang
  • United States Owen "oBo" Schlatter
  • United States Chris "draWsouL" Drossel
  • Canada Mitch "gloRinsz" MacInnis
  • United States James "JamezIRL" Macaulay
