A monstrous performance by ShahZaM contributed to a dominant victory

compLexity and eUnited to ESL One Cologne NA closed qualifier

After eUnited qualified thanks to a forfeit victory, compLexity claimed their spot by defeating Dignitas 2-0.

The NA open qualifier for ESL One Cologne 2018 concluded, with eUnited and compLexity set to play against 4 other invited teams for a spot at the main event in Germany.

A forfeit by Mythic due to failing to comply with broadcast rules stated in the ESL One Rulebook saw eUnited claim a spot in the closed qualifier, despite a 19-16 overtime victory for Mythic on Inferno.

On the other side, compLexity made short work of Dignitas after defeating them 2-0, playing only 37 rounds in the entire series. The first map, Mirage, saw compLexity win 14 rounds before a 1v2 afterplant clutch from Dignitas prevented the clean sweep. compLexity would however win the pistol and close out the map 16-1. A similar story unfolded on Inferno, with compLexity giving up only 4 rounds and closing the second map 16-4.

Sucks that Mythic couldn’t play due to breaking a rule. I agree with CJ, Complexity looks very good.
