ash will lead the new lineup

Official: Aurora add ash and Jimpphat

The roster is going international, starting now.

After weeks of speculation, former GamerLegion coach Ashley “ash” Battye has finally joined Aurora in place of Sezgin "Fabre" Kalaycı. Finnish player Jimi "Jimpphat" Salo has also joined the team, marking Aurora's first foray into an international roster since acquiring Eternal Fire's Turkish super-team.

After five years and just as many Major appearances, ash stepped down from his role at GamerLegion in late 2025 due to burnout. He officially left the German orgainzation in April of this year, and now returns to coaching for an Aurora squad currently in the process of multiple roster changes.

Jimpphat had been inactive for MOUZ since April before leaving the team this month. The #17th-ranked player of 2024 will look to return to form under the guidance of a new coach.

With Engin "MAJ3R" Küpeli taking a career break and Caner "soulfly" Kesici moving to the bench, ash will be working with Jimmphat and potentially former Falcons IGL Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski, if rumors are to be believed.

The current roster stands:

  • İsmailcan "XANTARES" Dörtkardeş

  • Ali "Wicadia" Haydar Yalçın

  • Özgür "Woxic" Eker

  • Jimi "Jimpphat" Salo

  • Ashley "ash" Battye (Coach)
