Locally Hated release roster and exit the CS2 scene

The org has released their Main team and stepped away from the scene.

Early this morning, grassroots NA organization Locally Hated announced their decision to part ways with their Counter-Strike 2 roster and exit the scene. The organization was founded in March 2025 by NA caster Blake "blakert" Thomas and producer Graham "Exploding" Smith.

The organization's most recent roster consisted of Taggert "taggy" Baker, Max "alula" Schreier, Wyatt "Weeza" Sahrmann, Ethan "Ethex" Eihardt, and toromi, players who have previously shared the server on squads like MONEY CREW and my life be like.

The team joined Locally Hated in October 2025 and represented the organization at FRAG York and in ESEA Open10 Season 56.

In their announcement, Locally Hated did not announce why they decided to leave the CS space, however they confirmed the players are now in free agency in order to avoid potential conflicts of interest between the players and Locally Hated's owners.

Locally Hated were:

  • United States Taggert "taggy" Baker

  • United States Max "alula" Schreier

  • United States Wyatt "Weeza" Sahrmann

  • United States Ethan "Ethex" Eihardt

  • United States "toromi"

The team appears to be sticking together under the "my life be like" tag and currently have a 7-3 record in ESEA Main Season 57. Their next match is set to be against Pugging4Pumpkin on May 12th.
