Fisher have become PlayVS College League champions after defeating Northwood in Waco, Texas, where the school’s Marvel Rivals team also claimed a PCL 2026 Spring Championship title over Northwood.

The CS2 grand final began with Fisher taking an 8-4 lead on their map pick of Ancient. Northwood would tie the game 8-8, but Fisher buckled down to take their pick 13-10. Inferno saw the FRAG 20 runners-up jump to a massive 10-0 lead, propelling them to a 13-3 win and series sweep.

The school was represented by several top teams during the collegiate LAN, including second-place League of Legends and Rainbow Six Siege squads. For their Counter-Strike team, the championship win follows second-place finishes at the last two FRAG events in New York in Vegas.

However, their greatest achievement thus far is qualifying to PGL Astana, becoming the first collegiate team ever to compete in Tier 1 Counter-Strike event. Their first match will not be against an NA squad or collegiate opponent, but the 12th-ranked team in the world, G2.
