Wildcard soar in Americas VRS, claiming top NA spot ahead of M80, NRG

Following their championship win at FRAG 20 last weekend and upcoming finals appearance in ESL Challenger League Season 51 Cup 4, Wildcard have become the highest-ranked North American team in the VRS rankings. While South American teams like FURIA and Legacy still command the Americas region as a whole, Wildcard have surpassed M80 and NRG to become the US and Canada's top representative.

NRG and M80 underwhelmed at FRAG's Las Vegas LAN, finishing in 5-8th place. Meanwhile, Wildcard have gone undefeated since bringing on former Marsborne IGL Danny "Cxzi" Strzelczyk in mid-April. Under the in-game leadership of Nemanja "nEMANHA" Đukić and coaching of Łukasz "splawik" Jahns, the team has gone 15-1 in map count in their last seven outings, only losing Inferno to Passion UA in overtime.

Wildcard gained 140 VRS points in Vegas, officially overtaking NRG in the rankings on April 29th, and then M80 on May 2.
