Check out the VRS Impact of FRAG York
With FRAG York wrapping up this weekend and less than a week before invites are handed out of IEM Cologne, let's take a look at the VRS impact of FRAG's latest event.
Starting with FRAG York's champions, Voca, they received a modest 18 points and rose from 46th to 41st in the world ranking. While attending FRAG York was undoubtedly the right move, Voca were hurt but a number of top teams dropping out of the event as their gains were limited by being the highest-ranked team in the event. With that in mind, Voca are currently predicted to miss the IEM Cologne Major, with Mischief giving the team a 4.4% of qualifying due to last-minute maneuvers by other teams to collect points.
BOSS gained the most points from York thanks to a third-place finish at the event, with the orgless squad taking home 188 points and jumping 56 positions on the VRS. The top-four finish for BOSS likely comes as a massive relief for Ben "ben1337" Smith and co. after a difficult start to the team for the team.
Overall, every single teams gained points from making Stage Two of FRAG York, with the Unranked FRZ Unit, Beyond Limits, and Zealous squads acquiring ranks as a result of their attendance.
