team mouse top Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #7's third Open Qualifier

Last night, team mouse beat Team Fathom Gaming in the third Open Qualifier of the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #7! This is the team's first time at the event, and only Dylan "DYLAN" Frivalt has participated previously.

The victory comes a few days after the removal of Ethan "Jester" Davis Comer. Though an official replacement has not been announced, the team played the qualifier with Sam "milo" Cash, who previously played with the squad during the IEM Atlanta Americas Open Qualifier.

The path to victory started with mouse accepting forfeits from raisedbypixels and Baatarz to reach the semifinals. There, they faced NuTorious on Dust2. They started incredibly strong with a commanding 9-1 lead, but NuTorious bounced back with their own streak to put mouse down 9-10. mouse managed to recover by the end of the half and took the map with a tight 13-11 victory.

Fathom was their opponent in the final, and things started rough for mouse with an 8-13 loss on Overpass. However, mouse hit back hard with a stunning 13-1 victory on Mirage to force a Dust2 decider. While Dust2 was more competitive than Mirage, mouse still came out on top 13-8 to take the series and reach the main event.
