Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series 6 Day #12 recap: Outfit 49 and FarmVille claim final playoffs spots
The Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #6 Swiss Stage came to a close last night, seeing Outfit 49 and FarmVille claim the final spots in playoffs via two close series against InControl and Chicken Coop. The two squads join six squads in the playoffs bracket, with Bltizkrieg also earning a spot last night via a forfeit win over the struggling SportsBetExpert lineup.
Both games last night were exceptionally close, with the match day starting with Outfit 49 and InContol going to three maps thanks to Outfit49 and InControl securing their map picks. This led into Mirage where neither team was in control well into the second half, with Outfit 49 breaking the stalemate on their T-side as they won round 19 and the following four rounds to secure the map 13-10 and thus claim a path into playoffs.

The second match of the day started with Chicken Coop cleaning up on their map pick of Overpass, winning their T-side 8-4 before closing out the map 13-6. This was answered back by FarmVille on Inferno where they would win their T-side 8-4 in a similar fashion before using this lead to make up for a somewhat sloppy CT-side to outpace Chicken Coop and win the map 13-9.
With the series tied up, Dust2 was very much a back-and-forth affair with an indecisive first half setting the stage for a second half that would see FarmVille sneak out ahead with a 13-11 win thanks to stellar performances from Christopher "cJ-dA-K1nG" Jones and Brody "BeaKie" Kelly.
