FaZe was the most visited CS team on Liquipedia in 2025

In a post by Liquipedia Counter-Strike, FaZe were listed as the most visited team on their site in 2025, beating Vitality and Falcons. Despite having an up-and-down year with no event wins, FaZe rallied at the end of 2025 with a second-place finish at the StarLadder Budapest Major.

Rather than their in-game performance, FaZe's season will be remembered for its plethora of high-profile roster changes. After letting Robin "ropz" Kool walk to Vitality at the end of 2024, they started the year by acquiring American legend Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski from Complexity in January. In May, they benched AWPer Helvijs "broky" Saukants in favor of Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev, before reinstating broky a couple months later.

In another change of plans, FaZe would bench EliGE and sign up-and-comer Jakub "jcobbb" Pietruszewski as his replacement. EliGE and Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken then traded places, with the Canadian returning to FaZe after a stint with Liquid. Finally, to make room for Twistzz, FaZe benched Håvard "rain" Nygaard after nearly 10 years on the team.

As for FaZe's 2026 season, they've gotten off to a lackluster start, with poor placements at both the BLAST Bounty Winter 2026 Closed Qualifier and IEM Krakow.
