s1mple ranks EliGE one of his most skilled teammates in his career

In a video posted by ESL, Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev named the most skilled players he’s competed alongside, ranking former Liquid and FaZe teammate Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski at #4.

s1mple first played with EliGE in 2016 as a new member of Liquid. Both players were just beginning their tier-one careers at the time, but they showed great promise at the MLG Columbus Major and ESL One Cologne 2016 Major.

The two were briefly paired again at FaZe nearly a decade later, but they ultimately struggled to fit in on FaZe’s roster. Although the veterans were seemingly past their primes, s1mple and EliGE appeared to enjoy their time as more seasoned teammates.

In a 2025 interview with Dust2.us, EliGE reflected, “We hold each other in high regards and I think that as we are older, I appreciate a lot of the things that he says and I react differently to how I did back then.”

As for the rest of his rankings, s1mple placed Ilya "Perfecto" Zalutskiy at 5th, with his top three amounting to David "frozen" Čerňanský (also of FaZe), Valerii "b1t" Vakhovskyi, and Denis "electroNic" Sharipov.
