Breaking: NAF ruled out for IEM Kraków

Liquid have announced that Keith "NAF" Markovic will miss IEM Kraków 2026 "due to urgent family matters." In his place, the team will be fielding benched BIG player Karim "Krimbo" Moussa in his place, starting with Liquid's opening match against NIP on January 28th.

Previous rumors suggested Liquid may be targeting Krimbo as a permanent roster addition. However, with a number of leakers suggesting Guy "⁠NertZ⁠" Iluz was on the way out while fans and pundits alike have been clambering for AWPer Roland "ultimate" Tomkowiak to be ousted.

Liquid's announcement implies that this substitution, however, is only temporary "until NAF is able to return to the active roster." They havee asked that his privacy be respected at this time. NAF has been omnipresent in Liquid for close to eight years, meaning this will be a significant change Liquid will have to contend with in their second LAN of 2026.

With NAF missing IEM Kraków 2026, Liquid will head to Poland with:
