Breaking: ESL announce IEM Atlanta 2026 for May 2026!

The event will effectively replace IEM Dallas in the Counter-Strike calendar.

On the final day of DreamHack Atlanta, ESL have announced IEM Atlanta 2026, seeing the Intel Extreme Masters head to Atlanta for the first time, with the NA stop effectively replacing IEM Dallas in the Counter-Strike calendar.

IEM Atlanta 2026 will take place from May 11th to May 17th and will take place at the Georgia World Congress Center, which has played host to DreamHack Atlanta for a number of years.

There was much speculation over IEM Dallas' future as the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, home to the event and DreamHack Dallas, is set to undergo significant renovations ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Like IEM Dallas, IEM Atlanta 2026 will feature 16 teams and will feature a $300,000 prizepool alongside a $700,000 club reward.

VRS invites for the event will be based on the February 2026 VRS while the event will be seeded via the April 2026 VRS update.

There will be a single qualifier spot up for grabs via an "Americas" qualifier which will use NA servers and two a "Global" qualifier which will use European servers.

Tickets for IEM Atlanta 2026 can be purchased here.
