Passion UA fall to Basement Boys at DraculaN Season 2
Basement Boys defeated Passion UA handily in the upper bracket semifinal at DraculaN Season 2. Passion UA hadn't lost any maps in the tournament to this point, but Basement Boys swept them in a clean 2-0.
Passion UA picked Nuke as the first map, Basement Boys pulled ahead early with six rounds to begin the half. Passion UA bounced back to make the score to reduce the defecit to two rounds and end the half 7-5 down. Passion UA flipped the script in the second half to take a 9-7 lead, but couldn't keep their momentum as Basement Boys won the next six rounds to take the first map 13-9.
The series then shifted to Basement Boys' Ancient pick. A back-and-forth first half saw Basement Boys take another 7-5 lead into the second period. The second half of this map was much cleaner for them this time around, as they surrendered just two rounds to take the map 13-7 and win the series 2-0.
