Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series 2 Day 7 Recap: Getting Info, Akimbo earn playoff berth
Two matches went down in the second series of the Dust2.us Eagle Masters yesterday, with two more teams securing their place in the playoffs.
Getting Info was victorious against LAG, and Akimbo beat Party Astronauts, both matches being in the 2-1 pool.
Getting Info 2-0 LAG
The first map of this best-of-three was a salivating affair on Dust2, with both teams winning strings of rounds at a time to lock in overtime. The overtime period brought much of the same, until Getting Info rallied in the second post-regulation period to win the map 19-17
The story would not be the same on the series' second map. Getting Info sprinted out to a 10-2 lead on the CT side of Anubis and comfortably converted the map 13-4, earning the 2-0 victory and a spot in the playoffs. Zack "XotiC" Elshani racked up 39 kills in the series to lead the orgless roster to the win.

Party Astronauts 1-2 
Akimbo
The other match of the day saw Party Astronauts and Akimbo face off. The series started with Akimbo's Mirage pick, and the Mongolian side started with a solid 8-4 half on the T side. PA rallied from down 12-4 with six round wins in a row, but Akimbo clinched the 13-10 win.
Party Astronauts chose Inferno to keep their playoff hopes alive in Round 4 and showed their worth on the map with a 9-3 first half. PA comfortably won 13-6 to force a third and final map on Ancient.
The good times for Party Astronauts ended there. Akimbo took immediate control and didn't look back, jumping out to a 10-2 lead and winning by a score of 13-3. Maks "laxiee" Andryei was the difference-maker in the final map, posting a ridiculous 24-9 statline in Ancient, with an impressive 54 frags in total throughout the match.
