LOBOARMY maintains SJR's innocence despite FACEIT ban
Enmanuel "SJR" Villar of Infinity, the team that once played under the LOBOARMY banner, is attempting to appeal his FACEIT ban through the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC).
SJR was one of the most notable North American players banned in this wave. He and his team had qualified for ESL Challenger League after winning ESEA Advanced Season 52, but now the validity of those results is being called into question.
In a post on Facebook, Luis "Lobockz" Guerrero, a Peruvian caster and supporter of the LOBOARMY squad, issued a joint statement with the team to express their confidence in SJR.
Their statement requests for ESIC to complete a thorough review of the player's case. When Dust2.us reached out to a FACEIT source regarding these bans, the source said that the FACEIT anti-cheat team stated that the recent bans are not false positives. Additionally, Kiryl "SlooKy" Misiukevich and Christopher "aleph" Froden have since admitted to cheating, making it somewhat unlikely SJR happened to catch a false positive ban at the same time.

A machine-translated version of Lobockz's statement reads:
After a series of internal conversations and a detailed evaluation of the situation, we have reached the following resolution:
The entire team is fully aware of the cheating ban imposed on the FACEIT account of the player SonicoJR. However, we maintain our support and full confidence in Enmanuel.
Yesterday, he submitted a series of tickets that have not yet been answered, in addition to having sent a formal letter to the ESIC (Esports Integrity Commission), requesting a thorough review of the case. Our request is clear: that the process be carried out with concrete and duly substantiated evidence, as is appropriate in any situation that compromises competitive integrity.
The team's official position is to await a formal response from Faceit. We consider it fair to be provided with specific evidence:
What type of cheating was allegedly used?
In which match did the violation occur?
We do not believe it is appropriate or transparent to receive only a generic notification without additional details.
Our only interest is to clarify this situation, and we reiterate that we are 100% willing to collaborate with any relevant body, with the aim of ensuring that the process is carried out with maximum transparency and fairness
Atte.
