BESTIA isn't giving up

BESTIA CEO: "tomaszin and luchov already have their visas, we don't need to wait until Monday"

Mr. Lococo is still trying to change BLAST and Valve's minds.

BESTIA's CEO Alejandro "Papo MC" Lococo has revealed this Thursday, May 22nd, that Luciano "luchov" Herrera and Martín "tomaszin" Corna have secured their U.S. visas and therefore can play at the BLAST.tv Austin Major.

However, this comes one day after BLAST replaced BESTIA with Legacy due to visa issues, and more importantly, BLAST sent a statement to the press today, which says the deadline for the visas was on May 21st and that Valve has validated the decision.

In the same statement, BLAST also informed that BESTIA's "current legal representative" confirmed that the Argentinian team "began the visa process incorrectly and without proper legal support prior to their involvement."

Although BLAST's decision surely seems final, it looks like BESTIA won't give up trying to attend the Major. The Argentinians got support from lots of teams and pro players yesterday, and this new development could only add fire to the ongoing protests on X.

As of this writing, BLAST hasn't commented on Mr. Lococo's claims that luchov and tomazsin have received their visas.

What a messy situation this has become, I feel for the players but why didn’t the org try and get visas sooner? I wish blast gave them the chance like pgl did with 9pandas, but the rules are the rules at the end of the day and every team but BESTIA followed those rules
