BLAST Rivals 2026 Season 1 to be held in North America

BLAST announced this Thursday, May 6th, that Rivals 2026 Season 1 will be held in North America between April 27th and May 3rd.

The recent edition of BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 1 was meant to be held in Monterrey, Mexico. Still, BLAST moved the competition to its studio in Copenhagen, Denmark, due to "unforeseen logistical challenges."

It's unknown at this point where the tournament organizer is planning to host Rivals 2026 S1, but more information will be revealed "soon."

Regardless of the location, the NA region needs to host prestigious CS2 tournaments as they attract more investment and keep the interest in the game alive.

While we'll wait for more news on that front, the next weeks are going to be exciting for NA fans as they'll get to attend IEM Dallas this month and, of course, the BLAST.tv Austin Major in June.
