skullz temporarily steps down from oNe and returns to Brazil

As such, oNe will need to find a stand-in for the cs_summit 8 qualifiers.

oNe have announced that Felipe "skullz" Medeiros has stepped down from the team's starting lineup due to personal issues and has returned to Brazil. The timing is unfortunate for oNe as they are set to travel to Mexico to compete in the cs_summit 8 RMR qualifiers and ESEA Premier Season 37.

In their announcement oNe said that following agreement from the coaching staff, the team's psychologist, and skullz himself they decided it would be best for the player to return to his home country and take a break from competition. oNe recently finished a four-month bootcamp in Europe, which is notably the first time skullz has left Brazil outside of a one-month stint with Luminosity/ex-Luminosity in 2019.

As a result, oNe will need to find a stand-in in short order for the cs_summit 8 qualifiers. Should they make the main event, the team will suffer a 20% point penalty if they decide to integrate skullz back into the lineup at a later date. The team currently also have Cássio "cass1n" Santos sitting on the bench although he recently announced he has been allowed to explore his options.

With skullz returning to Brazil, oNe is now:

  • Brazil Pedro "Maluk3" Campos
  • Brazil Matheus "prt" Scuvero
  • Brazil Matheus "pesadelo" Panisset
  • Guatemala Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa
  • Brazil João "righi" Righi (Coach)
  • Brazil Cássio "cass1n" Santos (Inactive)
  • Brazil Felipe "skullz" Medeiros (Inactive)

The first cs_summit 8 qualifier is set to start on May 1st at 3PM EDT.
