The Nomads go official after RMR Open Qualifier

On January 15th, Spencer "Pugg" Moore announced the creation of a new roster, The Nomads, to compete in ESEA Advanced Season 48 and other competitions in the coming months. This new squad assembles a number of players with ESL Challenger League experience who have found themselves homeless after the winter shuffle.

Before deciding to play together long-term, the team competed in the PGL Major Copenhagen Americas RMR Open Qualifiers, narrowly missing out on the Closed Qualifier following a loss to Rocket in the second Open Qualifier.

The first member of the team, Pugg, had been looking for a new home following the demise of Detonate's previous roster in October. As for McKinley "Cyrix" Hollison and Dylan "DJF" Ferreira, both were former Unjustified players who found themselves out at different times, reuniting under this new squad after making ECL S45 together last year.

As for Reece "Wilky" Wilkerson, this will be his first team in some time, with his most recent team being Earlybirds, a squad which would fold in late 2022 before metamorphosing into EX CINERE. Finally, Justin "jsfelter" Feltner was with Villainous last season, exiting that squad after they narrowly failed to secure a spot in ECL S46 Relegation.

The Nomads are set to make their Advanced debut against Wiff Check on January 18th at 09:00PM.
