eUnited look to Zellsis in MDL tonight

Swole Patrol - assemble!

Jordan "Zellsis" Montemurro has joined eUnited's ESEA roster, and Dust2.us have been able to confirm that he will be playing in place of Hunter "SicK" Mims in the team's match tonight against Infinity.

It was just yesterday that Dust2.us learned Rugratz planned to use Adam "mada" Pampuch in Zellsis' place for the ESL One Rio Americas Minor North America Closed Qualifier, due to the latter trialing with an unspecified team. It now can be assumed that the team was eUnited.

eUnited's roster for tonight will be:

  • United States Austin "Cooper-" Abadir
  • Mexico Edgar "MarKE" Maldonado
  • United States Victor "food" Wong
  • United States Ryan "freakazoid" Abadir
  • United States Jordan "Zellsis" Montemurro
  • Canada Armeen "a2z" Toussi (Coach)

The roster hearkens back to the mid-2018 iteration of Swole Patrol that attended EPICENTER 2018.

It is not currently known if SicK remains in the eUnited picture. Since parting ways with Complexity last October, the player has averaged a 1.15 rating in stand-in appearances for Gen.G, Singularity, and eUnited. Despite his good form, eUnited found themselves fall just short of a spot at the FLASHPOINT Global Qualifier after a heartbreaking loss to Orgless.

What is known is that by virtue of reaching the ESL One Rio Americas Minor North America Closed Qualifier with Rugratz, Zellsis will not be an option for eUnited in that event.
