Nifty is eyeing a move to Europe

Former Renegades AWPer departs Advanced lineup

The 25-year-old AWPer departs the project he created back in December 2022.

After missing out on promotion to ESL Challenger League, Noah "Nifty" Francis has departed from his ESEA Advanced lineup, 4ORMULA. The former ENVY player gave an update on the situation in a Twitter voice note, remarking that the roster was created to make the BLAST.tv Paris Major and gaining promotion to ECL, goals which the team failed to reach. Nifty also noted in the update that he is looking for new opportunities around the world, particularly in Europe.

Returning to the server after nearly two years away in November 2022 as a stand-in for Advanced team PreGaming, Nifty appeared to have found his competitive drive for Counter-Strike again. Creating 4ORMULA the following month, the squad would go on to finish ESEA Advanced Season 43 with a 10-4 record, qualifying for playoffs and making it to the Closed Qualifier for the BLAST.tv Paris Major RMR. Unfortunately, the lineup would not find much success in either, being beaten in playoffs by TakeFlyte and Inwards and going out in last place of the Closed Qualifier for the RMR after facing incredibly tough competition.

With their ESEA season concluded, it is unknown how 4ORMULA will look when the new season comes around. According to Nifty's voice note, he claimed that he understood that a few of the players intend to rebuild the roster under the 4ORMULA name, however, as of now it is unclear as to what lineup will be fielded in the future.

With Nifty's departure, 4ORMULA is as follows:

  • United States Marco "Pol0" Hernandez

  • United States Johnny "JDubs" Wu

  • United States Nolan "Louie" Herges

  • United States Andrew "Drew" Warkentin
