Canadian nationals will play to determine who has a chance to go to Romania.

The World Esports Championship is back, and it's time for Canadians to form their team. The qualifier will run from March 1st to 8th, hosting two qualifiers for both co-ed and womens teams, followed by a grand final. The schedule of games are as follows:

  • March 2nd: Co-ed Qualifier #1

  • March 3rd: Womens Qualifier #1

  • March 4th: Co-ed Qualifier #2

  • March 5th: Womens Qualifier #2

  • March 7th: Co-ed Grand Finals

  • March 8th: Womens Grand Finals

Of course, all registrants must have permanent Canadian residency. All players register as a full team, and there are no entry fees. The two winning teams will play in the Pan-Am event for a chance to play in the IESF 2023 World Championship. To register, visit this webpage. '

IESF is bringing its 15th World Championship to Romania this year from August 25, 2023 to September 5, 2023. There have been no indications of open qualifiers for the United States as of yet, but we hope that there will be a better process in determining the final team as years prior which saw the nation send an ESEA Open team to compete amongst the world's best.
