nosraC has made his way back to his old stomping grounds

nosraC returns to former team

The former Gaimin Gladiators player has rejoined his old compatriots at JazzPimp's expense.

After a 2-3 run at the IEM Rio Americas RMR, Nouns have made the decision to bench Dominick "JazzPimp" Dimpfel and bring in Carson "nosraC" O'Reilly as his replacement. nosraC is of course no stranger to Nouns, having previously played with every single player on the lineup, most recently being a part of Gaimin Gladiators before being replaced by Danny "cxzi" Strzelczyk.

Beyond the obvious connection of the Nouns's lineup consisting of nosraC's former teammates, the squad have kept the rifler on their shortlist any time they've needed a stand-in. He previously played for the team in place of JazzPimp in the ACE North America Qualifier and was later registered as their substitute for the IEM Rio Americas RMR. Dust2.us understands that nosraC ultimately didn't travel to Stockholm with the team, but it demonstrates that nosraC's earlier removal seemingly left no hard feelings.

An anonymous source at Nouns told Dust2.us that JazzPimp's removal is due to underperformances by the player on the server. Unfortunately for JazzPimp, this fact seems to largely hold true as he posted a dismal 0.89 rating over eight maps at the RMR, a stat that possibly denied the young squad a spot at the Rio Major.

It appears that this is not the first time JazzPimp's removal was mulled over. He was previously sidelined in favor of Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz for the ESL Challenger Melborune Closed Qualifier. If stanislaw wasn't scooped up to replace Anthony "CLASIA" Kearney on EG Black, JazzPimp could've exited the team at an earlier date.

At the time of his original removal, nosraC told Dust2.us that he left Gaimin Gladiators due to disagreements over the direction of the team. It will be interesting to see if these issues can be resolved or if nosraC's second stay with the team will be a short one.

Nouns are now:

  • United States Jeorge "jeorgesnorts" Endicott

  • United States David "cynic" Polster

  • United States Brendan "Bwills" Williams

  • United States Danny "cxzi" Strzelczyk

  • United States Carson "nosraC" O'Reilly

  • Canada Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen (Coach)

  • United States Dominick "JazzPimp" Dimpfel (Inactive)

nosraC and Nouns will have a large challenge ahead of them as he is set to make his debut on Nouns against LOS + oNe tonight in ESL Challenger League Season 42 playoffs. The two squads will clash at 08:00PM.
