Luken's reunion with meyern will hopefully revitalize Leviatán

Leviatán complete lineup by reuniting Argentinian stars

After missing out on the Major, Leviatán has bulked up with a star-studded Argentine roster.

Argentine esports organization Leviatán have announced the signing of former 9z player Luca "Luken" Nadotti to complete their new-look roster. His addition sees the culmination of the organization's efforts to flesh out a new lineup after failing to qualify to PGL Antwerp 2022 after an 0-3 performance in the Americas RMR.

Following their exit from the RMR, Leviatán parted ways with Gabriel "1962" Sinopoli and Facundo "fakzwell" Guzman while Brazilian player Filipe "pancc" Paulo retired from CS:GO. In their places, Tomas "tom1jed" Rivero rejoined the roster have three months on the bench while Jonathan "JonY BoY" Muñoz and Luken were brought into the squad.

JonY BoY should be familiar to longtime followers of NA CS and Dust2.us as he spent a year living in America playing for Miami Flamingos and Gale Force alongside Edgar "MarKE" Maldonado all the way back in 2017. Misfits notably looked at JonY BoY and MarKE's squad before deciding to abandon CS:GO back in the day, forcing JonY BoY and co. to abandon their North American ambitions.

Besides JonY BoY's 13+ years of experience, the most tantalizing part of this new roster is a reunion between Luken and Ignacio "meyern" Meyer, who were regarded as a strong duo while playing together on Sharks back in 2019. This is especially true when you consider Luken is boasting close to career-best form after a very fruitful stint with 9z that saw him and Martin "rox" Molina be the first Argentine players to qualify to a Major.

With Luken completing their lineup, Leviatán are now:

  • Roberto "Reversive" Themtham

  • Tomas "tom1jed" Rivero

  • Ignacio "meyern" Meyer

  • Jonathan "JonY BoY" Muñoz

  • Luca "Luken" Nadotti

  • Joaquin "LokomotioN" Abasolo (Coach)

Leviatán are currently set to debut their new roster in the domestic Argentine FiReLEAGUE. There the team will face off against 9z, who come off recent victories against FURIA, Isurus, and ex-River Plate, among other lesser known squads.
