Swole Patrol throw wrench in EPL dreams of Torqued
Swole Patrol have taken down Torqued in a decisive two map series, sending the team of iBUYPOWER alums back to MDL for at least another two seasons.
The series began on Overpass with Swole Patrol securing the pistol and the following two rounds, with neither team building a streak of more than three rounds for the remainder of the half.
Swole Patrol continued to put distance between themselves and their opponents by claiming the second pistol as well, but Torqued were not done yet and managed a five round streak. Having had quite enough, Swole Patrol took four in a row to secure the map, which had been the pick of Torqued.
Things were more one-sided on Train, with Austin "Cooper" Abadir again leading the way for his squad. Swole Patrol secured a 10-5 lead at the half from the Terrorist side, and while a pistol win by Torqued delayed their fate, it could not alter it, as the muscle men took down down 2-0.
