FaZe start Stake Ranked Episode 2 with a win over Alliance
FaZe have kicked off their Stake Ranked Episode 2 run with a staunch victory over 28th-ranked Alliance. For a team that won’t be attending the upcoming Major, placing well here will feel all the more necessary.
Anubis began with FaZe taking the pistol and initial rounds, and the team was able to repeat this start again in the second half. Four of five players ended the map with ratings far above 1.00, giving FaZe a 13-8 win on their opponent’s map.
While Alliance were able to snag the opening pistol on Nuke, FaZe’s attack quickly responded with a six-round streak. Their defense was also able to put together a series of round wins, resulting in a 13-6 victory led by a 2.33-rated Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken.
