Iowa Stormboar bench two while M.A.D weighs future with team

Last night Iowa Stormboar announced the benching of William "aelor" Africano and Anthony "ayaneuu" Scheuer a week after the roster were signed by the recently-founded organization.

The benching announcement was followed by an X post from Iowa Stormboar head coach Caedon "MAD" Zube that he is has been freed to explore his options by the organization while continuing serve as their head coach.

Iowa Stormboar's IGL Ty "TyRa" Aron told Dust2.us that the team decided to make changes due to a recent drop in form and a lack of good results, leading to aelor seeking and receiving an offer from another team. This purportedly led ayaneuu to seek a new home as well, leading to their benching as the team looks to rebuild without them.

As for M.A.D, he told Dust2.us that he decided to search for a new home amidst a feeling of stagnation after more than a year with the ex-InControl core. For the time being, he said he will continue to help Iowa Stormboar while leaving his options open.

While Iowa Stormbora search for new starters they are set to field Stanley "calamity" Chiu and Jérémy "BiNoX" Chiasson as subs in ESEA Advanced and other competitions.

Iowa Stormboars' final match of ESEA Advanced Season 57 regular season is set to be against Celestial on May 21st.
