ESL Challenger League S51 Cup 4 Day 7: Voca set up rematch with Wildcard
The penultimate day of ECL S51 Cup 4 saw Voca face off with Zomblers for a place in the grand final v. Wildcard.
Voca swept Zomblers in a swift 2-0 series to earn a berth to the grand final and a rematch with Wildcard
Zomblers elected to start the series on Dust2. However, it was Voca who immediately seized control of the map, winning six rounds on the bounce to begin the match. Zomblers cut the lead to four at halftime, trailing 8-4. It wouldn’t be enough, though, as Voca saw the map out with a flawless second half, winning 13-4.
Mirage was the pick of Voca, and it was groundhog day all over again. Much to the dismay of Zomblers, they fell behind 8-4 at the half once again. Voca kept the trends from the first map going, shutting out Zomblers in the second half to win the second map 13-4.
A quartet of Voca players reached 30 frags in the series, a feat which no one on Zomblers could match.
