
BESTIA suspend CEO for racist remarks
BESTIA has suspended co-CEO Santiago "Santutu" Rodriguez indefinitely for racist remarks he made during a livestream. According to Dust2 Brasil, Rodriguez was responding to critiques of BESTIA’s performance at FiRe CONTER Season 1, in which they lost to Red Canids.

The clip and exact words Rodriguez used can be found here, with Rodriguez calling them "negro de mierda" (a highly derogatory and racist slur in Spanish, particularly in Argentina that is best translated as "shitty blacks" or "piece of shit black person").
Rodriguez has since apologized on social media, saying (translated from Spanish), "I can't believe what I said on my stream yesterday; it doesn't represent me or speak even a little to who I am as a human being."
In light of the incident and despite his public apology, BESTIA has suspended Rodriguez indefinitely. Co-CEO Papo also took to X, repudiating Rodriguez’s remarks while also corroborating his business partner’s remorse, saying (translated from Spanish), "This cannot and will not happen again."
