Akimbo unveil former VitaPLUR roster featuring roca, gloRinsz

roca is set to continue his headshotting and such in CS2 under Akimbo.

Yesterday Akimbo announced the acquisition of the VitaPLUR roster, seeing the stack led by Mitch "gloRinsz" MacInnis jump to the American organization. With this move, Akimbo also parted ways with their remaining Mongolian and Chinese players which follows the recent departure of Kamron "kmrn" Manii to Party Astronauts and Maks "laxiee" Andryei to BLUEJAYS.

Dust2.us was informed that Akimbo parted ways with the well-regarded Asian stack due to being unable to come to an agreement with the roster while they were also in the process of finding two new permanent additions.

The decision to invest in the VitaPLUR squad featuring Daniel "roca" Gustaferri comes after the team locked in a spot in ESL Challenger League Season 50 after finishing ESEA Advanced Season 53 in third place. The squad also recently qualified for the $5,000 NSTLGA Seattle Open which they will attend in mid August.

Akimbo are now:

  • United States Daniel "roca" Gustaferri

  • Canada Mitch "gloRinsz" MacInnis

  • United States Ryan "oreosss" Quach

  • United States Ayden "Dante" Laube

  • United States Wesley "S5J" Souder

The new Akimbo roster will be in action at the NSTLGA Seattle Open when it kicks off on August 16th.
