In Quake Champions (dead game I know) they did ban Russian players from their Pro League in 2022. Such a shame because Cypher (No relation to the ex-ITB/current Bleed player), Cooller, base, and Agent (even though he was banned in 2019 without an official statement) are hands down some of the best Quake players. And then a year later they closed the entire Pro League ("esports winter" casualty) GGWP.
