I built a CS2 case price tracker because I kept making bad timing decisions - free, 18 cases covered
For a while I had a tab open with the Steam Market page for whatever case I was watching. I'd refresh it a few times a day, try to eyeball whether the price was "high" or "low" compared to last week, and usually just give up and close the tab without actually learning anything.
The problem isn't that the data isn't there - Steam shows you price history. It's that you have to go looking for it, and by the time you do, you've already forgotten what the price was last Tuesday.
So I built CaseHint. It monitors all 18 CS2 cases on the Steam Community Market and emails you when a case you're watching crosses a price you set. The alert hits your inbox within about 10 minutes of the move. It also shows a market desk for each case -=\ price over time, recent volume, and where the current price sits relative to its range.
