Five Brazilian teams head to EU bootcamps ahead of RMR

Ahead of the start of the PGL Major Copenhagen Americas RMR on March 1st, teams from all over the western hemisphere have been heading to European bootcamps to try and get a leg up ahead of their competition. While a number of North American teams have embraced this approach, Brazil has taken this to a whole new level, as a majority of their RMR-bound teams are in Europe at the moment.

Running down the list, MIBR left for a bootcamp in Sheffield, England on February 6th and will be in the city at the same time as Nouns, who are at Endpoint's headquarters. Meanwhile, paiN's squad have decamped to Portugal and are set to use Sharks' facilities there until February 28th, only coming back a few days before the RMR.

Legacy are in Germany after an excursion to Portugal earlier in the month. ODDIK for their part went straight to Germany, choosing the international hub of Frankfurt as their preferred bootcamping location. As for RED Canids, they have elected to bootcamp in Malta.

With all of this said and done, only Imperial and FURIA remain in their home country. Both teams have elected to forgo a European bootcamp in favor of trying to qualify to IEM Dallas, the same approach as their Argentine neighbors BESTIA. With most of the both teams away at the moment, these three squads will have a far more favorable chance of making IEM Dallas. Whether that's worth forgoing a European bootcamp will remain to be seen, however the different approach by different organizations is interesting to see ahead of the Americas RMR.
