EG confirm Shakezullah

Evil Geniuses have confirmed the addition of Alan "Shakezullah" Hardeman as the main team's assistant coach. His announcement follows a report by Dust2.us on January 9th that the organization were set to unveil the former Bad News Bears IGL in short order. His addition follows Evil Geniuses' decision to promote Jerric "wiz" Jiang from EG Black to replace long-time AWPer Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov on the embattled roster.

Shakezullah brings with him a vast knowledge of the NA scene from his time with Bad News Bears, Triumph, and Singularity, among other teams. His signing by EG marks Shakezullah's return to activity after a lengthy hiatus from full-time competition following the demise of Bad News Bears in August 2022. It also sees Shakezullah lean further into coaching after a number of short-lived previous flirtations with the role.

This move sees Evil Geniuses further expand their coaching staff as they will look to reorient themselves after a difficult and largely unsuccessful 2022.

Evil Geniuses will be making their 2023 debut in the BLAST Spring Groups on January 19th where they will be taking on Heroic at 09:00AM.
