FlyQuest RED secure LAN Finals spot
With yesterday's night win over cleanup crew, FlyQuest RED guaranteed a spot in the ESL Impact Season 5 Finals with one game yet to be played. The RED squad not only guaranteed the Finals appearance but have also secured first place in North America.
Second place is still up for grabs, with Shimmer currently holding it but with Karma, Limitless Angels, and Nouns fe right behind. Today is a huge day for this fight, as Nouns fe and Limitless Angels battle each other.
It's the third ESL Impact Finals that FlyQuest RED will attend in a row, as the team hopes to bounce back from last season's Valencia fiasco that saw both North American squads exit the event in last place.
Despite qualifying one week before the end of the regional division, FlyQuest RED is not the first team to punch its tickets to Dallas, as HSG fe cruised through the Asia-Pacific Qualifier. In the other regions nothing is settled, as the European group stage just crossed its halfway mark, and with the removal of the second South American spot, FURIA fe and Fluxo Demons will play each other in the last week for the only spot.
ESL Impact Season 5 Finals will happen in Dallas, from May 31st to June 2nd, while IEM Dallas happens.
