hallzerk fears Pro League is "make or break" for his time in Complexity

ESL Pro League Season 19 kicks off with Groups C & D this week with Complexity, BOSS, and Liquid all representing North America well in the competition. Complexity has had their struggles so far in 2024 and the latest edition of ESL Pro League might be all that more important as Jason Lake's organization gears up for the next Major cycle.

In an interview with Anders Frost from Pley.gg, Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli spoke about his contract situation with the organization as Michael "Grim" Wince, Ricky "floppy" Kemery, and Ioannis 'Johnny' "JT" Theodosiou all re-signed for long term deals, while he did not.

He stated that his contract was "ending quite soon" and that performing would be crucial to him staying in the team. When asked if his performance in the upcoming event would be pivotal in his status, hallzerk described the situation as "make or break" and even alluded to a poor performance, meaning he would exit the starting lineup.

hallzerk says that he feels pressure from himself as he acknowledges he has not been playing as well as he should. He said that he "should be one of the best-performing players" and that he has been "quite disappointing" from the end of last year to the start of 2024.

Complexity faces off against PERA tomorrow morning as they begin their ESL Pro League Season 19 campaign.
