NAF had his best stats of the year in the BLAST.tv Paris Major Legends Stage

The Americas' best performers from the Legends Stage

Although without a trophy, North America saw glimmers of hope in the Legends Stage.

Following the conclusion of the BLAST.tv Paris Major, it is now apt to take a look back at North America's top performers in the Top 16 stage of the event.

#1 Canada Keith "NAF" Markovic

Continuing his dominant run of form from the Challengers Stage, where he procured a 1.22 average rating, NAF managed to top that performance with a stellar 1.24 rating across nine maps, a driving force for Liquid en route to the playoffs. The Canadian rifler kicked off the Legends Stage with a 1.63 rating against 9INE, subsequently keeping his numbers high with a 1.26 rating versus NAVI in the 1-0 pool. Liquid continued to be a key performer against Heroic and Into the Breach, but his from faltered in playoffs, as he could only muster a 1.05 rating against Apeks before Liquid bowed out in quarterfinals.

#2 United States Josh "oSee" Ohm

oSee stayed on par with his showing in the Challengers Stage, as he posted a 1.11 rating in both stages, both times across nine maps played. The young AWPer's standout games were against 9INE, where he managed a 1.39 rating, and in the qualification series versus Into the Breach, where oSee secured a 1.50 average rating to allow Liquid to claim a playoff berth.

#3 United States Nick "nitr0" Cannella

nitr0's performance in the Legends Stage was a stark rise from his showing the Challengers Stage, going from an average rating of 0.94 to 1.03. There is no doubt that the in-game leader's improved performance was an important element in allowing the North American side to reach playoffs, with nitr0's 1.14 average rating versus Into the Breach certainly helping the squad move past the British side.

#4 Canada Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken

The first non-Liquid player on the list, Twistzz saw a slight decline in form from the Challengers Stage to the Legends Stage, but still proved to be important at key moments for FaZe. Notably, Twistzz helped FaZe stave off elimination twice, averaging a 1.30 rating in the 0-2 elimination series versus 9INE and a 1.10 rating against NAVI to help FaZe reach the quarterfinals.

#5 Brazil Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato

Rounding out the list is another non-Liquid player, this time from FURIA. FURIA no doubt found themselves in an unfortunate spot this event, ultimately bowing out of the Legends Stage with an 0-3 record, but KSCERATO certainly tried hard to keep the team alive. A 1.21 rating in the 0-1 match versus Ninjas and Pyjamas proved not to be enough to prevent a loss, sending the Brazilians to the 0-2 pool early. Here, KSCERATO managed a 1.19 rating on the first map versus G2, before the international side pulled ahead to wipe out FURIA 2-0.
