The best plays of the Paris Major final
With the BLAST.tv Paris Major now concluded and the trophy safely in Vitality's hands, we look back at the best moments and clutches from the grand final. Despite the French-Danish mix winning the series, most of these clips actually come from GamerLegion players.
(#1) iM vs dupreeh for kills on Nuke
It's the eighth round of Nuke with the scoreline being almost even. Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen finds three kills on the A site while trading back two by Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek. Just Ivan "iM" Mihai and Frederik "acoR" Gyldstrand alive on GamerLegion, and Vitality go hunting for iM. However, being hunted was not in his plans as he takes down all three remaining Vitality players to equal the scoreline at 4-4.
(#2) iM shuts down ramp push on Nuke with a Five-Seven.
Having been boosted up above the T-side entry point into ramp room and with just a Five-Seven, Ivan "iM" Mihai isn't cleared by Vitality and he takes down three with just the pistol. Falling down and picking up an AK-47, he's able to dispense of Lotan "Spinx" Giladi as well.
(#3) siuhy pistol defense on Overpass B site.
On the second half of Overpass on the pistol round, Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek sneaks up onto the B bomb site while Vitality are planting and quickly removes the heads of Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen and Emil "Magisk" Reif. While Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut tries to retake from heaven, siuhy takes down Lotan "Spinx" Giladi and quickly turns around to dispatch of ZywOo as well. A crucial round win for GamerLegion.
(#4) siuhy post-plant clutch on Overpass
Down 11-3 on Overpass, Vitality had the bomb planted and Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut had dispatched of GL's star Ivan "iM" Mihai, so it was down to just Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek who had just taken down Lotan "Spinx" Giladi. Able to play around the terrain, siuhy dispatches of Dan "apEX" Madesclaire and Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut with ease.
(#5) apeX surpirses iM and acoR at Overpass connector
Down to just Dan "apEX" Madesclaire who's rotating up through connector on Overpass after all his teammates have died, being hunted by both Frederik "acoR" Gyldstrand and Ivan "iM" Mihai. With seemingly nobody at all expecting them to meet each other at the top of connector, everything turns to chaos as apEX pulls out his M4A1-S right on time. iM and acoR both miss their shots, leaving a clean kill on iM for apEX. acoR does get away for a few seconds as apEX runs out of bullets, but he switches to a USP and takes down acoR as well.
