FURIA stunned, set for elimination match tomorrow
FURIA is in dire straits after their devastating loss to Lynn Vision this evening with the Brazilians struggling to come up with answers to their slow start to the PGL Copenhagen Major. A 3-0 team during the Americas RMR, FURIA is down in the dumps and potentially facing the music in the first-ever Counter-Strike 2 Major.
FURIA and Lynn Vision met on Nuke, where the Chinese squad surprised everyone with their exceptionally strong T-side. FURIA couldn't answer for Lynn Vision's erratic aggression and found themselves in knots as the lead kept slipping away from them. FURIA never found themselves in the lead in the game as Lynn Vision's T-side gave them an 8-4 lead at the half.
The Chinese squad kept on rolling as FURIA seemed completely lost to start the second half. Lynn Vision were up 11-4, just two rounds away from relegating the Brazilians to the 0-2 bracket, but Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato had found new hope with a quartet of round wins. An immense effort from a Chinese eco buy that deserved a "WHAT THE FUCK?!" shout from the stream production set Lynn Vision up with match point. FURIA got another one on the board, making it 12-9 but then another eco buy from LV sent FURIA to the 0-2 bracket.
