M80 get much needed stamina boost

M80 are set to wander into the fray of the Americas RMR in just hours, with one of the key headlines being Rory "dephh" Jackson's replacement of Marcus "maNkz" Kjeldsen as the in-server tactician. With the added responsibilities of leadership with a mouse in hand, it makes a lot of sense that M80 have sought out additional assistance in the coaching department to supplement dephh, an area that they have much more control over than the roster itself due to roster locks. Accordingly, M80 have just announced Bobby "stamina" Eitrem as a member of the Bomb Squad in their RMR hype video.

stamina is well known to the NA scene as the mastermind behind a number of tier-two projects that made it to the cusp of breaking through into bigger events, but fell just short. He bounced between earlier iterations of Nouns and Strife, as well as Limitless, and most recently, MIGHT. In his announcement that he was stepping back from MIGHT in mid-January stamina noted that he wasn't in any hurry to jump into helming another project or making a "rushed decision" like he had in the past. Instead, he noted that he intended to wait for the right opportunity and was open to considering roles as a coach or analyst. It is now apparent the M80 were interested in what he had to offer when it came to the latter, with stamina having started offering his services to M80 in the leadup to IEM Katowice 2024.

The assistance when it comes to match preparation will have M80 fans hoping for tangible benefits when it comes to dephh's in-server performance. In the last three months since taking over for maNkz, the British IGL has averaged just a 0.79 rating with just two maps at a 1.00 rating or higher. Though IGLs aren't known for statistically carrying their teams, M80 cannot afford any liabilities in the server with their untimely roster change.
