Beating the current reigning Major champs Natus Vincere was a fantastic victory for Complexity as they guaranteed themselves a Top 8 placement at ESL Pro League Season 19. The squad were not favored at all prior to the match and the victory was seen as a positive upset for the American squad.

One point of celebration was Michael "Grim" Wince's performance on the server which saw him as the best overall player in the best-of-three win. He recorded 55 kills, posted a 1.35 HLTV Rating, a 1.41 Impact Rating, and a 79.7% KAST.

What many did not know was that Grim had been suffering from some a pretty significant case of food poisoning that caused him to go without eating for over a day and saw him vomit several times in the lead up to the match. Chad "SPUNJ" Burchill brought up Grim's health in the immediate aftermath of the game against Natus Vincere.

"Didn't look like Grim was having too much fun after." SPUNJ remarked to Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli, Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski, and Ricky "Floppy" Kemery. "There's a bucket next his desk?"

"He's been puking 14, 15 times the entire day, he hasn't eaten in 30 hours probably" explained hallzerk.

"He's shooting pretty straight though!" remarked EliGE.

Grim is just the latest of a string of food poisoning cases to impact North American players in Malta. BOSS members Justin "FaNg" Coakley and Adam "freshie" Paterson also contracted an illness while arriving last week. Dust2.us understands that some other Complexity members are not feeling well at the moment, but they are expected to recover by the time they play their next match.
